Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-14

1. Service Description

SearchPipe ("the Service") is an AI-powered web search service for AI agents provided by the SearchPipe team. The Service aggregates results from multiple search engines, fetches and cleans page content, and reranks and summarizes results with large language models, returning structured search results. You may access the Service through the MCP Server (for clients such as Claude Code and Cursor) or through direct API calls.

2. Accounts and API Keys

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including API calls, credit consumption and any content produced with the Service. Keep your API keys and login credentials safe; losses caused by poor credential management are your responsibility.

Provide accurate registration information. We may suspend or terminate accounts registered with false information.

3. Credits, Recharges and Subscriptions

The Service uses a prepaid credit system with two purchase options: credit recharges and monthly subscriptions. Please read this section carefully and purchase according to your actual needs.

Search requests consume credits per call: a basic search costs 1 credit, and an advanced search costs 2 credits. Credits are non-transferable, cannot be withdrawn as cash, and cannot be exchanged for money. If a billing anomaly is caused by a technical failure on our side, we will resolve it by issuing additional credits rather than cash refunds.

Please note the difference in credit validity: credits obtained through recharges never expire; credits obtained through monthly subscriptions (including renewals and upgrades) are valid for 30 days from the moment they are credited and expire automatically if unused.

(a) Credit Recharges

(b) Monthly Subscriptions

When consuming credits, subscription credits that are closest to expiring are used first; never-expiring recharge credits are used last. Please plan your usage accordingly before purchasing.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our merchant of record (MoR), such as Creem or Dodo Payments (the exact provider is shown on the checkout page). The MoR acts as the seller of record for tax and invoicing purposes. We do not store your card number or other full payment credentials on our own servers.

5. Refund Policy

For unused credits from a recharge, we may, at our discretion and where required by applicable law, refund the corresponding amount proportionally (unused credits ÷ total credits purchased × amount paid). To request a refund, contact us at support@searchpipe.tech with your account email and order number.

Credits that have already been consumed, subscription credits that have already been credited for the current billing period, and expired credits are not refundable. Failed search requests (e.g. upstream retrieval failures or content moderation rejections) are automatically refunded in credits and do not require a separate request.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service for any of the following:

If we detect a violation, we may suspend or terminate the affected account in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.

7. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We will try to notify users of material changes via on-site announcements or email.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may also restrict, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

After the Service is terminated or your account is deleted, unused credits are cleared automatically. For paid services that have been purchased but not yet consumed, we will handle them in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". We make no express or implied warranties about the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of search results. Search results are provided by third-party search engines, and the Service only aggregates and processes them.

We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss caused by force majeure (including but not limited to network failures, third-party service outages and natural disasters).

9. Intellectual Property

The intellectual property rights in the Service and its software, documentation and interface belong to the SearchPipe team. You only obtain the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms, and may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, please stop using the Service.
