Free tier

Every account gets 1,000 free credits every calendar month (UTC) — granted automatically on signup and renewed when you first sign in with a verified account each month. API-key calls alone do not renew the allowance. Full feature parity (MCP + REST API, all parameters). Unused monthly credits do not roll over.

Credit recharge (never expires)

Fixed tiers below, or a custom amount ($1 – $500) at the standard $0.005 / credit. Recharged credits never expire and are never zeroed out:

Payment is completed on the hosted checkout page (available channels are shown at checkout); if a server-side billing error occurs, credits are reissued after verification.

Monthly plans (credits valid 30 days)

Subscription credits are valid for 30 days from grant; unused credits expire at the end of the period. Plans renew automatically via the platform's subscription management:

Plan rules

Renewal: renewed credits take effect from the next billing period and do not stack into the current one.
Upgrade: pays the full current price of the new plan; new-plan credits land immediately with a fresh 30-day window, and unused credits from the old plan are extended to the new period end.
Downgrades are not supported. Subscriptions renew automatically — cancel anytime from the billing page (effective at period end; you can undo it anytime before then).
Subscription credits and recharged credits are tracked separately: time-limited batches are consumed first.

Billing & refunds

Per-call billing: basic search 1 credit, advanced search 2 credits.
Failures are never charged: upstream retrieval failures (502) and output content violations (400) are auto-refunded; retries are safe.
Result cache: identical query and parameters within 300s can use cached results. Cache hits still cost credits at the selected search depth.
Credit validity and refund policies follow the Terms of Service; service failures on our side are compensated after verification.

Verifiable evidence & audited answers

Evidence is included in the search price — every result on any plan carries a verbatim supporting quote with character offsets, a source-authority tier and fetch metadata. No evidence surcharge, no separate endpoint.
Audited answers are part of the advanced tier — an advanced search (2 credits) with include_answer=true returns answer_audit: per-statement four-label verdicts with an overall audit score. No extra charge beyond the 2-credit advanced call.
Claim verification is per request — POST /verify is billed per call, and an inconclusive verdict is a valid deliverable (not refunded); a pipeline failure (503) is refunded automatically. Details: Verification API.

Rate limits

Default sliding-window limits: 100 requests per minute with a burst of 20; over-limit requests return 429 with a Retry-After header. Need higher concurrency? Reach out via console feedback.
